About Mark Wofford

Before he joined Liberty National Life Insurance Company in 2003, Mark Wofford was a sales supervisor for 12 years in a large call center in Springfield, Missouri. But the “opportunity to make unlimited income and get back the freedom of my time” brought Mark to Liberty National. Was it the right move? Absolutely!

“I have been a top-10 Agency Director with Liberty National multiple times and was awarded the Senior Underwriter Award at the 2017 Annual Sales Convention in San Francisco,” recalls Mark. “I really love helping people, and this Company has provided an incredible vehicle to do just that! Whether it’s filing claims and being there for my clients or on the recruiting trail offering the opportunity of a lifetime to potential Agents, Liberty National has always delivered. And for that I am deeply grateful. Our training program and the systems we use are the key to our success! After years with the Company, Mark is still excited about Liberty National products. “We specialize in a unique term life product for the workplace that is portable. If a worker leaves his or her employer, the individual can keep the policy in force to age 100! It is one of the only term life products on the market that potentially stays in force that long. Our supplemental health products also pay directly to our clients to help pay deductibles and provide income due to lost wages, etc.”

Giving back to the community is important to Mark and his team. “We work with one of our clients called ‘The Whole Person’. It works with disabled individuals all over the Kansas City area providing assistance for day-to-day living needs. We volunteer with it on special events and provide financial assistance. It’s a great organization! We want to get involved at a high level in our community, and we currently work with several organizations giving back with our time and financial donations,” emphasizes Mark.

In addition to loving Liberty, Mark loves basketball. “I love the game of basketball,” says Mark. “I played at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, while working for my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, and I have coached on the side. I have a 14-year-old son who plays basketball at a very high level, and I enjoy watching him play ball all over the country,” adds Mark proudly.

When not enjoying basketball, Mark loves the outdoors, especially fishing and kayaking.
