About Steve Harris

If Steve Harris could do it over again, the one thing he’d change would be starting his career with Liberty National Life Insurance Company sooner. Enticed by the unlimited income opportunity and potential for advancement, Steve was promoted to Agency Owner in Anniston, Alabama, 14 months after he joined the Company. In turn, Steve was able to promote several people to become Agency Owners following his promotion.

Prior to his career with Liberty National, Steve worked in the physical rehabilitation and sports medicine field. He believes the most rewarding part of joining Liberty National is being able to help individuals find their career paths and watch them grow in their careers. “The opportunity at Liberty National provides stability, flexibility, and an excellent income opportunity. I would never have been able to provide for my family the way I have if Liberty National had not given me an opportunity,” explains Steve.

During his first year with Liberty National, Steve provided supplemental benefits to the employees of a trucking company. Liberty National paid a claim two years later for one of the truck drivers and later that same year for the owner’s wife, who passed away. It was very important to Steve to be able to provide those families with needed benefits and protect them from financial burdens during an emotionally trying time.

In addition to helping policyholders, Steve and his Agency participate in their local Relay for Life, donate to the United Way, and volunteer at senior centers and libraries. Agency members take part in local events and give back to the community by offering Child Safe Kits, MedFacts Kits, and $3,000 Accidental Death Policies. He also donates to the American Cancer Society.

In his free time, Steve enjoys playing golf, hunting, and spending time with his son, Trey.
