About Terah Mims

When a friend invited Terah ‘Tee’ Mims to interview with Liberty National Life Insurance Company on the premise of making more money, she thought “If they could do it, then so could I!” Terah left her job in the banking industry and hasn’t looked back. Within 60 days, Terah achieved Agency Director status and in 20 months was managing her own Agency in Memphis, Tennessee.

One of the most rewarding parts of joining Liberty National has been “helping a client file a death claim on a policy they thought they’d never use, and knowing we did the right thing in helping them get that policy,” says Terah. She also enjoys giving career opportunities to people who want to make a difference in the community and watching them create wealth in the process.

Terah is a firm believer in the products offered by Liberty National. She is proud to be a part of a Company offering affordable protection for accidents, ICU coverage, hospitalizations, cancer, critical illness, and loss of life. After all, she says, “Who wouldn’t want money coming to them when they need it most?”

Terah’s first experience of ‘doing the right thing’ with Liberty National came within her first 90 days with the Company. She insured a couple with a cancer plan, and soon after, the husband developed a cough. Diagnosed with lung cancer, he received a $30,000 check from Liberty National. “I knew then I found the right job for me,” says Terah. “Making a difference in others has made a difference in my life! It’s unbelievable I get paid to do this!”

In her free time, Terah and her family work with inner city children through their church. They also give to local missions that send teams into Communist countries. Terah strongly believes “giving to anything from which you don’t directly gain is so important. So many people have so many needs!”

Terah loves to cook, laugh, travel, and spend time with her family. She wants to parasail, bungee jump, see the world, and sky dive — she definitely has that ‘Leap of Faith’ attitude!
