Prior to joining Liberty National, Mitch Phelps was in the construction business. He wasn’t crazy about it.
“I didn’t feel I could grow there,” Mitch said. “Truthfully, I felt that lack of growth at most every job I’d been a part of.” So he sought out something different: a job – no, a career he could see himself sticking with, growing with, and that ultimately would change his life.
Mitch found what he was looking for in Liberty National Life Insurance Company.
“I didn’t know much about insurance sales or the Company at the time,” he said. “I just had the confidence that if I put the same effort into this career that I did my previous one, I’d be able to change my life and my family’s life.”
Mitch’s confidence and open-mindedness came through in spades. He quickly qualified for the prestigious Liberty National Torch Club and Honor Club on top of being named Rookie Agent of the Year in 2006.
“I fell in love with Liberty National, and here’s why: the products I sell help financially sustain people in times of crisis … and selling those products in turn helps sustain MY family.” It’s a great circle, and it amounts to many families throughout the region gaining financial security.
Busy as he is, Mitch finds time to volunteer at a local ministry and homeless shelter at least once a month. It’s his way of giving back to the community that helped him build his Agency.
